🐾 What the app is for

Feed Stray Animals has one clear purpose: helping stray animals. You use the app to report animals, to show where food, water or shelter has been put out, and to show other animal lovers where help is needed.

By using the app, you agree to these terms. Use of the app that goes against these agreements does not belong on this platform.

🤝 Respect comes first

Behind every report is a person who took the time to stop for an animal. Treat each other as follows:

  • Be kind and helpful to other users, even when you disagree about something.
  • No abuse, bullying, threats or discrimination: not in comments, not in messages and nowhere else.
  • Help build each other up instead of tearing down. We share the same goal.

The community only works when people feel safe and welcome to participate.

🚫 Abuse and permanent exclusion

Abuse undermines the trust the entire app is built on. We take firm action against it. The following will result in removal of your report and may lead to permanent exclusion:

  • Fake reports: making up animals or locations that don't exist, or posting reports as a joke.
  • Inappropriate photos: images of animal abuse not intended to organize help, shocking content, or photos that have nothing to do with a stray animal.
  • Bullying, intimidating or harassing other users.
  • Using the app for advertising, spam or purposes other than helping animals.

In cases of serious or repeated abuse, we permanently delete your account, with no option to restore it.

📷 Your contributions

The photos and reports you post remain yours. By sharing them, you grant us permission to display them in the app to other users, so they can find and help the animal. Only post content that you created yourself or are allowed to share.

⚠️ Use at your own risk

Helping stray animals happens in the real world, which we cannot control. That's why this is important to know:

  • Using the app and visiting reported locations is entirely at your own risk.
  • Be careful around unfamiliar animals: they may be scared, ill or unpredictable. Keep your distance when necessary.
  • Be sensible about locations. Don't trespass on private property or dangerous places, and comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Feed Stray Animals is not liable for damage, injury or loss arising from using the app or visiting a location.

The app continues to grow and these terms may change from time to time. We'll let you know in the app about any important changes. At the top of this page you can always see when we last updated the terms.
